Lose fat and win muscle
Look around and you will notice that I am in the minority because you believe that you can swell and cut at the same time. I say ‘believe’, but I really mean ‘to know’ as I have ‘done the impossible’ on many occasions, and so do my readers by carrying out my advice.
The evidence is not only anecdotal, but there is solid scientific evidence for my position, but we will come back to that later. So why do not most people believe that this can be done?
Well, here are 2 facts that they use repeatedly:
To build muscle, you need to consume excess calories.
To lose fat, there must be a calorie deficit.
The logic is, because you can not do both of the above at the same time, you can not simultaneously build muscle and lose fat. Error, yes you can!
Body fat is the solution
This is what they do not understand. Yes, you need enough calories to build muscle and you need a shortage to burn fat. However, body fat is actually the solution! What is body fat?
Stored energy or stored calories, if you want. If you do not meet your calorie needs via food, tap your “stored calories” to do the job. Because these stored calories are in the form of body fat, you have to lose fat to build up that muscle.
Do you see what I’m saying here? Let’s say a man eats 500 calories less than his body needs to get him through the day (his maintenance calories including physical exercise). How does his body get the extra 500 calories needed to activate it and build muscle?
by burning his body fat. There are about 3,500 calories in a pound of fat. 500 calories times 7 days corresponds to 3500 calories, i.e. in this example our man feeds protein synthesis (building new muscles) and loses 1 pound of fat per week in the process – that’s fun, very nice.
Calories in different calories
You literally exchange your fat for fantastic abs (am I not smart?). Note that fat tissue is impossible to change directly into muscle tissue, but you can exchange that fat for muscle by using it as fuel. For some reason, most people seem to forget that not all of your calories should come through your mouth.
‘Calories In / Calories Out’ still applies to friends, the laws of thermodynamics are not broken, but at the level of the cells, not at the level of your mouth!
There is a condition that you must keep! On a low-carbohydrate diet, this will not be achievable for anyone except those very few genetically gifted individuals.
For those of us who know this, we can use our knowledge to activate fat metabolism and achieve remarkable results. You have to turn that metabolic switch and become a fat burner for this to work.
Become a certified Fat Burner
When you eat low carbohydrates and create a caloric deficiency, you lose well, but you lose up to 50% of that weight in your muscles. Therefore, attempting a carbohydrate-rich diet will result in stagnation, i.e., neither moving forward or backward, and making you very frustrated.
If you are a certified fat burner, it works a treat. Skeptical? Do you want solid proof?
Because most of us do not lean from ‘overweight’, and we do not limit calories to 1000 or less per day, we find relevant answers here.
This group lost 2.2 kg or 4.8 lbs in total weight. The good news is that they lost 7.26 lbs / 3.3 kg of fat and got 42.42 lbs / 1.1 kg of muscle in 42 days. Is it a wonder that cycling with carbohydrates is so damn effective?
View the top study as a small comment. A low-carbohydrate group consuming only 1000 calories per day was observed in addition to a group that ate nothing for 10 days. Of course the fasting group lost more total weight, but the low executioners lost almost twice as much fat!
It is not impossible to build muscle and at the same time lose fat. It is actually a very good, predictable process if you know what you are doing. That is why I am here to write articles. I am here to help you achieve your goals, because I know for a fact that you can!
I am not special, I do not have great genetics. I am just an ordinary boy who got his wish by constantly learning and being my own guinea pig. Now I pass it on to you.
Hey, the next time someone discourages you and tells you that you can not build muscle and at the same time lose fat, then point to their big belly and suggest that they use some of those calories in the future.
